Meet Brad

Brad Ward, PCC, TICC, TIRC

Brad is a leadership and personal transformation coach and nonprofit organization consultant who spent 20 years in the nonprofit sector. He opened his practice, Brad Ward Coaching LLC, after relocating to Palm Springs, CA with his husband in 2014.

His work is grounded in a simple belief: how you relate to yourself shapes how you lead, how you connect with people, and how you move through change.

Career Experience
Before starting his coaching practice, Brad built a career focused on strengthening people, organizations, and communities.
Prior to living in Palm Springs, he worked at AIDS United, a philanthropic and policy organization based in Washington, DC, as its Grants Compliance Officer. There, he developed and refined systems to support organizational and financial accountability for federally funded programs.
Previously, Brad served at Health HIV as Senior Capacity Building Manager and Program Manager for the AIDS Education and Training Centers National Center for HIV Care in Minority Communities. His work focused on organizational development and fiscal management for community health centers serving people living with HIV.
He also served as Executive Director of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, Inc. (GALA) in Washington, DC, where he worked to elevate the visibility and impact of LGBTQ+ choruses across the US and internationally.

Before relocating to DC, Brad was CEO of AIDS Resources of Rural Texas (ARRT), which served 26 rural counties across North and West Texas. His first role in the nonprofit sector was as Events Coordinator for AIDS Outreach Center in Fort Worth, TX.

Across these roles, Brad says the nonprofit sector felt like it fulfilled a calling – serving in public health, education, and the arts over two decades.

Today, that same focus shapes his coaching: helping people better understand themselves, navigate change, and show up with greater clarity and intention in their lives and leadership.

Brad is a Professional Certified Coach credentialed through the International Coaching Federation; a Certified Values Coach through Discover Your Values, LLC; and a Trauma-Informed Certified Coach and Trauma-Informed Relationship Coach through Moving the Human Spirit.
